Sound Shield by Marantz is a professional vocal reflection filter designed to be perfectly sized for any studio space. It shields the recording microphone from distracting acoustic artifacts to support cleaner, more focused, more intelligible recording. With multiple absorptive walls and sculpted sound-absorptive surfaces, it’s built to help improve vocal recording performance in different environments. Sound Shield features five absorptive walls (three stationary and two foldable) backed by high-density EVA foam for additional sound attenuation. It can be custom-shaped around the microphone and is small and lightweight for versatility. For mounting options, it can be mounted on a tabletop or stand-mounted using its built-in threaded insert.
